An extremely versatile, highly durable plastic sheet that comes in a variety of colours. Acrylic is primarily used for long-term interior signage and raised lettering. Although its not the least expensive of materials acrylic is an excellent product if you desire a high-quality gloss finish.
Aluminium Composite (Dibond)
Dibond is by far the most popular choice for outdoor applications. Rigid, aluminium sheets bonded by a solid, poly-resin core are light weight, weather resistant, and cost effective which makes it the ideal choice for long term exterior use.
Aluminium is incredibly heavy duty and therefore perfect for roadside, safety and on site signage. The surface can be coloured to complement your sign message and even folded and welded into trays
Avonite is a kind of artificial slate. They share all the same characteristics except avonite is more readily available, has a slightly glittery finish and is ever so slightly softer (for engraving). Commonly used for upmarket house signs.

Foamex (PVC Plastic)
Foam PVC, may be used indoor and outdoors for limited amounts of time. Its matt finish reduces glare and makes for easy readability. Foam PVC can be shaped and is lightweight, therefore ideal for cost effective 3D lettering and budget signboards.
